Mr. Iraola is the founder and CEO of The Aloaris Group a privately owned group that provides financing and manages start up ventures with the potential to revolutionize existing business models. The Group also provides a full range of advisory services to companies operating or planning to operate in emerging markets. He is also a co founder and CEO of Homekeys a developer, integrator and provider of state of the art web-based information tools and services for the real estate industry.

Prior to The Aloaris Group, Mr. Iraola served as President of Phelps Dodge Industries (PDI), Phelps Dodge Corporation’s diversified manufacturing business. Mr. Iraola served on the company’s senior management team and also on its Board of Directors. Phelps Dodge is the world’s second-largest producer of copper.

As President of PDI, Mr. Iraola was responsible for a group of diversified businesses that manufacture specialty chemicals and engineer products for transportation, electrical and telecommunications industry customers around the world. Under Mr. Iraola’s tenure, the group had annual sales of almost $1.8 billion and employed approximately 5,000 people at 50 major operations in 27 countries in North, Central and South America, Africa, Western and Eastern Europe, India, China, and Northeast and Southeast Asia.

Prior to his post as President of PDI, Mr. Iraola held top management positions with the Columbian Chemicals Company before its acquisition by Phelps Dodge, including Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, followed by Chairman and CEO. Mr. Iraola has also served in positions of responsibility at ITT Corporation and on the consulting teams of Accenture (formerly Andersen Consulting) and KPMG (formerly Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co.).

Mr. Iraola holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Connecticut, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico, where he was elected to the engineering societies Tau Beta Pi and Alpha Pi Mu. He is also a graduate of Pennsylvania State University’s Executive Management Program and the Wharton/Spencer Stuart Directors Institute.

He has served on the Board of Directors of domestic and foreign corporations and has vast experience in start-ups, mergers and acquisitions, strategic alliances, turnaround and business optimization activities. In 1999, Mr. Iraola was recognized by the Hispanic Association of Corporate Responsibility as one of the top Hispanics serving on the Boards of Fortune 1000 companies. He has been a guest lecturer at the University of Miami Graduate School of Business since 1994.

Mr. Iraola currently serves on the Board of Directors of Central Hudson Energy Group Inc. (NYSE:CHG). He previously served on the Boards of Phelps Dodge Corporation (NYSE: PD), Southern Copper (NYSE: PCU), and Schweitzer Mauduit International Inc. (NYSE:SWM).
